Simón Sanabria wins the Inter Miami Dreams Cup 2026
Simón Sanabria Patiño, a 17-year-old Colombian striker, claimed the biggest title of his career so far by winning the Dreams Cup organized by the Inter Miami CF Academy in Miami, representing the Bogotá regional team. An international title that reinforces his projection as one of Colombian football's promises heading toward 2027.
The tournament gathered top youth academies and selections, and the Bogotá side prevailed to lift the trophy. For Simón — a versatile attacker who plays as a false 9, winger and midfielder — it was another international showcase within a pathway that already includes the Bogotá regional team and a Colombia U-16 national team training camp in 2025.
A profile with international projection
Standing 1.71 m, wearing number 9 for Municipal FC and number 13 for the Bogotá selection, Simón Sanabria combines finishing, work rate and game reading. His honours also include the 2025 Win Sports Cup runner-up, the 2024 Metropolitan Tournament title and the 2023 Bogotá League championship.
Simón is currently available for trials and transfer processes with professional clubs and academies, both in Colombia and internationally.
